Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Voroxi Group LLC, which operates PressUp ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using PressUp, you agree to them. If you use PressUp for a business, you agree on its behalf.

What PressUp does

PressUp builds a website from your description, lets you change it by chat, and hosts it once you publish it. PressUp uses AI to write and design your site. AI can make mistakes, so check your site before you publish it, especially facts such as prices, phone numbers, opening hours and claims about your business.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use PressUp.

Your content

Your site's words, photos and details stay yours. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display them, and to send them to the companies that help us run PressUp, as far as we need to provide PressUp to you. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, apart from copies in backups, which are overwritten after a limited time.

You're responsible for what you put on your site. You confirm that you have the right to use the photos, text, names and logos you give us, and that what your site says about your business is true.

Images that PressUp makes for your site are illustrations. They don't show your actual business, work, premises, staff or customers, and you shouldn't present them as if they do.

Your visitors and their enquiries

If your site collects enquiries, you're responsible for how you use them and for following the laws that apply to you, including telling your visitors how you use their information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.

What you can't do

Don't use PressUp to:

break the law, or help anyone else break it;
publish content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is deceptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit;
impersonate a person or business, or collect passwords or payment details under false pretences;
send spam, spread malware, or attack or overload PressUp or anyone else's systems;
get around plan limits, or copy or resell PressUp.

We may remove content or suspend a site or an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why first.

Plans, credits and payments

PressUp has a free plan and paid plans. The Pricing page shows what each plan includes, its price, and how many credits each action uses. We'll tell you before we change a plan you're paying for.

Credits. Some actions use credits, such as changing your site by chat, making an image or building a new site. Credits that come with a plan are added at the start of each billing period and don't carry over to the next one. Credits you buy don't expire while your account is open. When you run out, those actions pause until you have more credits. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
Storage. Each plan includes an amount of storage for your photos and images. You can add more on a paid plan.
Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel them, which you can do at any time from PressUp. Your plan continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account goes back to the free plan. Features that are part of a paid plan, such as custom domains, may stop working when your plan ends.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices don't include taxes unless we say so. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable.

Domains

Your site gets a free PressUp address. If you connect your own domain, you must own it or have permission to use it.

On a paid plan, you can also buy a domain through PressUp:

It's yours. We register it with Namecheap, Inc., an accredited domain registrar, in the name and with the contact details you give us, which must be accurate. Namecheap's domain registration agreement applies to it as well as these terms. Your details are kept private in public domain records where the registry allows it.
Price and renewal. You pay the price shown for the first year. After that, the domain renews for a year at a time, charged to your card shortly before it expires, at the renewal price shown on the Domains page, until you turn renewal off there. If a renewal payment doesn't go through, we email you and try again each day until the domain expires.
Refunds. If we can't register a domain after you've paid for it, we give your payment back. Once a domain is registered, what you paid for it isn't refundable.
Leaving. The domain stays yours if your plan ends or you stop using PressUp. To move it to another registrar, contact us and we'll help.

Ending

You can stop using PressUp and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. If we stop offering PressUp altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice first.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep PressUp and your site online and working, but we provide PressUp "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of your content or your breach of these terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in PressUp before it takes effect. If you keep using PressUp after that, the new terms apply.
